Enjoyed an absolutely delicious festive burger here with a nice pint of Doom Bar. Great pub - lots of natural light in the bar, great service, and burgers that are hard to beat elsewhere - especially for the price! The kebab topping on the fries was a particularly nice surprise - so many tasty flavours and a generous portion. Looking forward to going back soon!

Really happy with the food and service I had here recently! Food was fresh and tasty and had lovely drinks and great atmosphere, staff were attentive and really helpful. Definitely recommend and will be returning!
Very friendly staff who were, that the time of our visit, coping admirably with a very busy but friendly atmosphere due to the imminence of Xmas. Food was good quality, good sized portions and competitively priced. Can't think of much that could be improved to be honest.
A group of 3 of us visited The Turnpike last night and we had a really good time. It was surprisingly busy for January, but they had a very good offer on of 40% off food which we took advantage of, bringing the total of our 3 meals to just over 16. There was an hour wait for food, but we didn't mind that as we'd gone out for a good old catch up. The food came and it was delicious, hot and well presented. The establishment itself had a great atmosphere, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the toilets were clean and suitably well stocked with sundries.
Our local pub. Drinks are pricey but the food is always fabulous!! Highly recommend the burgers! They always come out fantastic!! Be prepared to wait for food at busy times... Good food is worth the wait and you don't want to rush the experience here anyway! Just enjoy the atmosphere and friendly staff. There's always someone to talk to here, whether you're here solo or in a group, the random social encounters are always entertaining!!
